Colorado Dont BS Me Build
2005 Base model 4 cyl Colorado chassis
2002 4.8 totally stock other than a Elgin/Jegs/Summit/trickflow 228/230 "sloppy stage 2" cam and Pac1218 valvesprings intake to oil pan
i took the stock harness and shipped it to Andy Bryant at LSX Specialties for a rewire
i decapped the stock inejctors from the motor and sent them to Eric Derr to flow test
i am using a PTC used 400 dollar single billet converter
still the same stock 80e with a HD2 kit, and a cut down totally stock explorer 8.8 installed
stock fuel rails, and a walbro 450 in the stock colorado tank.
was running on a P01 ECU with a 02 silverado flex fuel OS in it, and a regular GM flex sensor.
currently swapped to P59 with 3bar and Flex OS on it right now
turbo kit is a log style manifold kit built by corey johnson
turbo is a billet 7875 and vs44mm wastegate from VS racing
intercooler and piping and blow off valve are also from VS racing

as of the day of this update 7.30.17 the truck has made 521whp on 14psi clearing the budget 500whp goal
i have pushed to 660+whp but it currently doesnt have the fuel system to sustain that kind of power
i have left it at 550whp on 15psi and 70% content maxing out injectors and pump
for march i installed a 2nd 450 in the tank, and installed bosch 210lb injectors, pushed up on boost a little and ended up with 650whp
but my converter is struggling with the power, so until the converter is upgraded itll be around there, BUT! i recently tuned a car that is a copy of mine
with a better converter and better motor and i easily made 821whp on e85, here are the details of that build
here is the update for the colorado on the dyno with 650+whp
here is a full swing of power capability from 6-20psi so far unlocked, pretty impressive
