Raven Project
1. Find the page for E.A. Poe's "The Raven" in the bookshelf section. Working with your group members, answer the multiple choice questions on a separate sheet of paper. Be sure to include the names of your group members on the sheet of paper.
2. Create an acrostic poem using the words "The Raven." Brainstorm a list of eight words that come to mind when you think of the poem.
3. Include in your poem, three examples of alliteration, three examples of assonance, and three examples of internal rhyme.
4. When you are finished with your acrostic poem, copy it onto a sheet of poster board. Be sure to include the names of your group members. Also, color code each example of alliteration, assonance, internal rhyme, and onomatopoeia. Use this interactive version of E.A. Poe's "The Raven" as an example.
