Research is starting to highlight a plethora of Hope families who lived and continue to live in the Borders of Scotland and in particular, in both Peeblesshire and Roxbughshire - two places that are smack bang in the middle of where our own Hope family hail.

While he doesn't claim to connect various Hope families by blood line, he certainly paints a fabulous history which each of us can get our teeth into and claim the heritage which is ours to claim.
