Freda Hope was the only child of Isabella Hope and was born on 23 August 1903 at Casterton.

Due to family circumstances, Freda was brought up by her Granny Hope. On 17 July 1933, Freda married Hugh McCready Lochhead at South Melbourne.

Hugh was born on 4 March 1907 at Mildura and died at Mildura 30 April 1966. Freda and Hugh lived on "the block" near Mildura, Victoria.

Freda died at Mildura on 21 June 1983.

Freda and Hugh had five children.

Regretably, I have no further information about the life and times of Freda Hope or her family.
