Isabel Hope McEachern Matheson, only child of Euphemia [Effie] Grace Hope and Percy Albert Hugh Matheson, was born at Northcote, Melbourne on 29 November 1919. Sadly, her mother died when Isabel was only 13 months old. She was reared by Granny Hope after her mother's death, at Casterton.

Isabel was married on 4 February 1950 at the Presbyterian Church Glenhuntly, Melbourne to Donald Cameron McLean. Donald was born at Carnegie, Melbourne 24 February 1921.

Regretably, I have no further information about the life and times of Isabel Matheson or her family.
